CLAT 2024 will be held in December 2023 due to a change in the CLAT schedule from the previous year. The exam was previously held in May, but the Consortium decided to make specific changes as a result of conflicts with the board exams, increased stress on candidates from taking multiple exams at once, and many other factors. Candidates must therefore appear for CLAT 2024 if they want to be considered for admission to law programmes during the academic year 2023–2024.

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is the entrance exam for law admissions in India. CLAT, one of the most common law entry-level exams, is taken by students who desire to study law. A nationwide exam administration process is used. Thousands of candidates compete for limited seats in various law schools. For admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, separate exams will be held. The details of both exams are disclosed in the Consortium's official notification. We can anticipate the release of the CLAT 2024 official notification by August 2023.
